Dato’ Yap Kat Boon, D.S.N.S., J.P., P.M.C. is a distinguished businessman in Negeri Sembilan, with several decades of experience in the property and business sectors. At 80 years old, he serves as the Group Chairman of Antaramasa Group and Prestajaya Group of Companies.

Dato’ Yap began his career as an insurance agent and quickly proved his exceptional business acumen. His entrepreneurial drive led him to diversify into various sectors including property development, property investment, driving institutions, and automotive dealerships, where he built a robust and respected business portfolio.

In recognition of his contributions to the business community and society, Dato’ Yap has been conferred several honorary titles. He was awarded the Jaksa Pendamai (J.P.) in 1989 and the Darjah Dato’ Setia Negeri Sembilan (D.S.N.S.) in 1995 by the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, bestowing upon him the title “Dato’.”

Beyond his business achievements, Dato’ Yap is also actively involved in social and community organisations, serving as chairman and advisor to various bodies. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of SJK(C) Hillside, Seremban, reflecting his strong commitment to education and community development.

Dato’ Desmond Yap Poh Seng, D.B.N.S., aged 45, is currently the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Antaramasa Group.

With a strong foundation in audit, tax, and statutory work from his early career at a chartered accountancy firm, Dato’ Desmond brings extensive expertise to his roles. A Chartered Accountant by profession, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with double majors in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK.

Dato’ Desmond has played a pivotal role in the development of several notable projects, including Seremban Gateway Mall, Galla Industrial Park Seremban, Taman Mutiara Galla Seremban, Taman Laman Suria Mantin, and Taman Seraya Mantin.

Additionally, he serves as the dealer principal for several petrol kiosks, including Petron Labu Station, Caltex Temiang Station, and Caltex S2 Station.

Beyond his corporate engagements, Dato’ Desmond actively contributes to the Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association Malaysia (REHDA) and has served as the Chairman of the Negeri Sembilan branch since 2020, playing a key role in advancing property development in the state.

In recognition of his contributions, Dato’ Desmond was conferred the Darjah Setia Bakti Negeri Sembilan (D.B.N.S.) by the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan in 2025, granting him the title of "Dato’ " .
